DCEC Engine Co., Ltd. (DCEC), located in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, is a 50/50 joint venture between DCEC Inc. and Dongfeng Automobile Co.,Ltd. In 1986, Dongfeng Automobile Co.,Ltd. signed a license agreement with DCEC Inc. for B-series engines. DCEC Engine Co., Ltd. was established in June 1996, with registered capital of over 100 million US dollars, land area of 270,000 square meters, and 2,200 employees.

DCEC mainly manufactures DCEC designed medium and heavy-duty engines, which include B, C, D, L, Z series, covering displacement of 3.9L, 4.5L, 5.9L, 6.7L, 8.3L, 8.9L, 9.5L and 13L and power ranged from 80 to 680 horsepower.
What is ISD4.5 Automotive Engine？
DCEC ISD4.5 series electronic automotive engine can reach upto EU Stage VI emission standard, the number 30/40/50/60 are the emission standard mark of engine, which means engine emission standard are EU Stage III, IV, V, VI. For different emission standard DCEC ISD4.5 electronic series automotive engine, the engine itself are the same, the major different are the after-treatment system and ECU program.
ISDe160-30B Automotive Engine
DCEC ISDe160-30B automotive engine is a 4-cylinders in line, 4.5 liter four-strokes engine with 107 mm bore and 124 mm stroke, equipped with Electrically Control High-pressure Common Rail, DCEC ISDe160-30B automotive engine comes with turbocharger and Air- Air intercooler, with a EURO III post-processor.

Working closely with our business partner including Dongfeng Cummins, Fast-CAT, Dongfeng Dana and Komman, DuraMac supplying complete powertrain system for all kinds of automotives including buses, trucks, coaches and special vehicles.
- Standard DCEC Original ISDe160-30B automotive engine without any modifications, this is the cheapest engine amoung all of original industrial engine, but customer will have lots of problem in replacement of the old engine, due to lots of connections and outer parts differences. This is quite cheap due to no additional costs for modificaitons accessories.
- Modified engine according to original serial number but without flexible coupling (People call it flywheel but its not, just looks like flywheel), and engine fan clutch, customer can install this engine to replace without any problem, but have to use the flexible coupling and engine fan cluth from old engines, because these two parts usually maintain very good conditions on the old engine, and its very expensive to purchase these two parts. This engine need additional costs for modifications, but still can reduce the costs by not buying expensive flexible coupling and engine fan clutch.
- Modified engine according to original serial number and with all accessories. This is most expensive option, but very easy for customer. Customer don’t have to do any additional works, just take old engine out and put our engine in the machine.
