As a global giant company and leading company in the diesel engine industry, CMS and China’s history can be traced back to more than half a century ago in the 1940s. At the end of 1944, a Chongqing enterprise sent a letter to CMS seeking to establish a business relationship to produce CMS engines locally in China. The first CMS China office was established in Beijing in 1979 when China opened to the outside world after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States.
