BFCEC ISF3.8e4R168 automotive engine is a 4-cylinders in line, 3.76 liter four-strokes engine with 102mm bore and 115mm stroke. Equipped with Electrically Control High-pressure Common Rail, engine comes with Turbocharged and Air- Air intercooler.

BFCEC ISF series 3.8-liter light engine is one of two in-line four-cylinder high-pressure direct-injection diesel engines that BFCEC has invested heavily in research and development. It is a new generation of fully electronically controlled light-duty diesel engines facing the future.
The overall modular design, the total number of parts is small, the failure rate is low, the structure is compact, and the maintenance is easy.
The high-pressure common rail fuel system has higher injection pressure, more precise control of injection timing and fuel quantity, more adequate combustion, wider economic fuel consumption area, greatly improved fuel economy, further improved low-speed performance, better noise reduction and cold start performance good.
The engine subsystem is highly integrated, achieving fuel saving and consumption reduction in multiple ways, and higher power-up.
