DCEC 6BTA5.9-GM120 Auxiliary Engine
DCEC 6BTA5.9-GM120 marine auxiliary engine is a 6-cylinders in line, 5.9 liters four-strokes engine with 102mm bore and 120mm stroke.
Equipped with BYC PB fuel pump and GAC electronic governor, engine comes with turbocharger and Water-Air Intercooler.
The prime power for generator set 1800RPM of DCEC6BTA5.9-GM120 marine auxiliary engine is 120kW.
DCEC provides both heat exchanger cooling and radiator cooling marine auxiliary engines, which mainly using for marine main generator and marine emergency generator.
For the emergency generator set applications, we provide additional options for customers such as dual starter motor system (we provide both electric and spring starter motor for customers), which are required by most of international classifications.
All of DCEC marine auxiliary engine are comes with dry type exhaust system, which means dry type exhaust manifold and dry type turbocharger, SeaMac provides upgrading services for water-cooled exhaust system, which modify dry type exhaust system into water-cooled exhaust system, which are quite important and often requested by passenger boat projects.
Advantages of 6BTA5.9-GM120 Auxiliary Engine
Leading design and excellent manufacturing technology make the engine more reliable and durable, suitable for high-strength, heavy-duty work under severe working conditions.
The cylinder block and cylinder head adopt integrated design to prevent the occurrence of engine water and oil leakage. The parts are about 40% less than other similar engines, and the failure rate is greatly reduced.
The cylinder bore adopts a platform mesh honing design, the perfect geometric structure effectively prevents oil leakage, and the use of advanced technologies such as new piston ring components and gasket crimping and molding reduces oil loss.
Synchronized with the advanced design and sophisticated manufacturing of CMS in the United States, it is suitable for harsh working conditions and has strong high-intensity and heavy-duty operating capabilities.
